How you can participate in the bright radio sound of Eastern FM in the Eastern suburbs:
There is a target audience of over 400,000 within our broadcast licence area covering the municipalities of Knox and Maroondah and parts of Whitehorse, Manningham and Yarra Ranges.
As a community broadcaster, Eastern FM attracts a wide audience who have a strong interest in their local community. We continue to receive welcome support and encouragement from Councils, community organisations and individuals.
During our outside broadcasts from many local community festivals we are encouraged by the growing numbers of people who listen to the wide variety of programs aired.
The music format to support our daytime programs may be described as "middle of the road easy listening" with evening programs including special interest features catering to more specific groups of listeners.
Your message is broadcast to a local audience in the area from which your customers would generally be drawn.
This is provided at very moderate cost to you and can generate a good feeling amongst listeners which may influence a buying decision.
You are supporting a community information service not available elsewhere and highly valued by the hundreds of community groups that use the station for promoting their activities.
"In tune with the Outer East"
A Community Radio Station serving Melbourne's Outer Eastern municipalities of Knox and Maroondah and parts of Whitehorse, Manningham and Yarra Ranges.
Our sponsor messages are limited to a maximum of 5 minutes per hour so listeners are not bombarded. As we log these at approximately 15 minute intervals, your message will not be lost in a group of messages.
Eastern FM relies upon its community to sustain it through donations, by membership subscription and by sponsorship.
Sponsorship messages are between 30 and 40 seconds duration and must feature a lead in or tail to indicate that this program is sponsored by "your business".
Costs vary with the rate being determined by the number of spots and the duration of the agreement.
The station is registered for an ABN but as a non profit organisation it is not required to pay GST so any invoice to you should be paid in full without any GST withholding.
Specific program or time requests for messages may incur a loading.
Payment of the total amount of Sponsorship is required at the time of signing the Agreement but payment of at least 50% may be negotiated if the Agreement is continuous.
